Lloyd Evans

Joliet: Guitar, Ukulele, & Bass

About Lloyd

Lloyd has been playing guitar for thirty-five years. It’s a family tradition: his grandfather, father, and

son all play guitar. He loves spending time with his wife, Summar, son Dylan, and their two dogs,

Annabelle and Clifford.

When he’s not playing guitar, he’s spinning records from his fairly large record collection. Some of the music that gets played quite a lot includes the Beatles, Wilco and Tom Petty. He also collects old media like 8 track tapes, and loves a good bike ride.

Lloyd says that he loves the way music inspires students: “My hope is that students feel the way I do about expressing themselves through their instrument. I enjoy it when students have epiphanies about how they can play something that elicits an emotional response from an audience.”

Lloyd's Calendar

Is Lloyd accepting new students?
Check Lloyd's calendar below to see if he has any spots marked "OPEN for new students." If you register for lessons, you can specify which of his openings you would like.

If I am currently one of Lloyd's students, how do I schedule a makeup lesson with Lloyd?
To make scheduling a makeup as easy as possible, here is your teacher's schedule below. There are available make-ups, as indicated by the term “OPEN” or even "OPEN for new students." Scroll down to look at all the available days and times.

You are NOT able to manually make a schedule change yourself on the calendar. Call, email, or text your teacher to tell him which OPEN spot you would like to take, and he will make the change for you.
