About Claire

 

 

Claire has been playing drums since she could hold drumsticks. Whether behind a brass ensemble or a blues band, she keeps the rhythm steady. With years of formal instruction and a deep passion for music, she began teaching during her senior year of high school.

In the summer of 2022, she joined Don’t Matter To Me, a developing rock cover band based in Joliet. The following summer they opened for Train at the Taste of Joliet and have since played hundreds of shows at local venues and events. In 2026, she joined Michael Charles and his Blues Band on the “Where to Next?” Tour in Canada.

Her biggest musical influences include John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward, Abe Cunningham, and Matt Cameron. She shares, “I want to give my students something I realized too late—the confidence and resources to truly maximize their potential.”
