So what's the difference between percussion lessons and drum lessons? Well, if your child wants to play in the school orchestra, then she'll need to learn timpani, concert snare drum, crash cymbals, marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel, chimes, tambourine, triangle, concert toms, and at least a few other instruments. However, if your child wants to play in a rock band, then we recommend traditional drum lessons on a drum kit that includes a bass drum, snare drum, toms, and cymbals.
We offer 30-minute (or 1 hr upon request) weekly private percussion lessons for students as young as six years through adults.
