We’re all in this together as Simply Music's Musical Theater Program presents “Disney’s High School Musical Jr.” This show is just what you’ve been looking for. Our youth ensemble will bop to the top and assemble this modern Disney classic from auditions to final curtain while having fun, learning, growing, making friends, gaining confidence, and all those great things that happen when students are in musicals!
So don’t stick to the status quo…getcha head in the game and join us for our first Musical Theater season…it’s the start of something new!!

Meet our awesome Musical Theater Director, Jennifer!
Jennifer Corp holds a State of Illinois Teaching License, a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Throughout her 20+ year career, she has conducted and taught all levels of Choral/Vocal Music, from Kindergarten through Professional and Amateur Adults. [Learn More]

What's the schedule?
What's it about?
Disney’s High School Musical Jr centers on the blossoming relationship between Troy, a high school jock, and Gabriella, the new smart girl at school. They meet on a family vacation and become attracted to each other while singing in a karaoke competition.
Rediscovering each other at school, their relationship and their surprise decision to audition together for the school show are thwarted by the school’s current leading lady, Sharpay, and Troy and Gabriella’s well-meaning friends.
Finally, Gabriella and Troy find a way to be themselves and are rewarded with the lead roles in the school show. Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, this musical explores issues of friendship, first love, and acceptance.
