Can I enroll at any time?

Enroll any time of the year! We are always happy to welcome new students to our Simply Music family! You may start lessons at any time of the year and pause enrollment as needed. We’ll gladly pro-rate tuition or schedule makeup classes if you start lessons or classes partway through the month.

Once enrolled, we’ll keep you enrolled until you tell us you need to pause or withdraw. No need to constantly fill out forms to re-enroll. We want to keep things easy and convenient for you.

What does the annual registration fee cover?

An Registration Fee of $50 per student is charged at the time of enrollment for new Pitch Perfect or Flute Choir students and thereafter in September of each year for returning students. The annual Registration Fee is an all-inclusive admin fee that helps cover various recital and performance events fees as well as registration processing. If a student is also enrolled in a private lesson at Simply Music, this Registration Fee will be waived.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

You can also check your current balance and change your class at our Parent Portal.

What is included in my enrollment?

Your tuition is for everything that is included with enrollment here at Simply Music — a scheduled number of weekly classes for the year plus all of the special events and recitals planned for our students. And then of course, there’s also all the love, time, and effort your teacher puts in as well!

You can also check your current balance and change your class at our Parent Portal.

Your tuition fee is automatically billed on the 1st of each month to your credit or debit card on file.

What is our approach to safety policy?

At the present time, we will follow one intentional approach to health and safety in all of our private lessons. This approach is informed by CDC recommendations and aims to ensure that everyone has as engaged, joyful and as safe an experience as possible. Currently we ask all unvaccinated individuals to wear a mask during their lessons. We reserve the right to ask all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask should the COVID cases in Will County rise to dangerous levels.

What happens in inclement weather?

Any weather closing information for Simply Music will be posted on our studio Facebook site, as well as confirmed via email or text.  Assume that we are remaining open for lessons or classes unless we announce differently. If weather conditions are such that we need to close our locations, we will teach any classes and lessons for that day online according to the regular schedule. Your teacher will simply send you a Zoom link to join her at the regularly scheduled lesson time.

What happens if my teacher is unwell?

If your teacher is unable to join class because of health concerns, they will update you at least 90 minutes prior to class by email and text message. In such a case, the teacher will make every effort possible to choose a day and time that works for the majority of families later that week or month.

What if the teacher reschedules a class?

Though rare, there may be times when a teacher needs to reschedule a class. In such a case, the teacher will make every effort possible to choose a day and time that works for the majority of families.

What happens if I miss a class?

Due to the nature of group lessons, regular weekly group lessons are not made up except in the case of teacher absence or inclement weather.

What if I need to pause or cancel my enrollment? What is your refund policy?

We understand that circumstances can change for families impacting your ability to participate in live instruction.

If you need to pause or cancel your enrollment, please send us written notice prior to the 1st of the month. (If notice is received after the 1st of the month, the tuition for the current month will still be charged.)

Please send your written notice via our online form.

Registration fees are non-refundable.
