Get ready for a delightfully spooky and hilarious musical that brings everyone’s favorite eccentric family to life like never before! Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. Everything changes for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. The Addams Family Young@Part is a 90-minute version of the Broadway musical. . . a ghoulishly good time full of music, mischief, and mayhem!

All Sunday rehearsals are held at Good Shepherd Church in Frankfort. Wednesday rehearsals are either at Good Shepherd or Simply Music New Lenox, TBD.

Full Cast: 5:30 - 8:00pm on Sundays from Sep 20 - Jan 10 (no rehearsals 11/22, 12/20, 12/27)

Select cast (as called): 7:00 - 8:30pm on Wednesdays from Sep 30 - Jan 13 (no class 11/25, 12/23, 12/30)

*The first day of rehearsal (Sep 20), the director will teach all participants everything they need to know for auditions. Auditions and Callbacks will then be held Sep 21 - 23 (Time TBD). Don't worry, everyone gets a part!

Our tuition is $460, making us one of the more reasonable children’s theater programs in the area. We’re committed to keeping musical theater accessible for families by inviting—though never requiring—parents to volunteer and by offsetting costume expenses with specialized pieces for select characters. Tuition includes all rehearsals, performances and a cast T-shirt. And of course, you’ll also benefit from the love, time, and dedication your directing team pours into every production!

Jennifer Corp holds a State of Illinois Teaching License, a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Throughout her 20+ year career, she has conducted and taught all levels of Choral/Vocal Music, from Kindergarten through Professional and Amateur Adults. [Learn More]
