The best age to start trumpet lessons is between the ages of 9 and 11 years old. Although students can start playing trumpet as early as age 6, it's better to wait until they have full lung capacity and permanent teeth. And whether your child is preparing for his first band experience in school or just has a love for playing a solo trumpet, we can help!
We offer 30- or 60- minute weekly private trumpet lessons for children through adults. We recommend students begin private lessons after completing Kindermusik Musicians Years 1 & 2 (available Fall 2024).
We can also make recommendations on where to purchase or rent an instrument.

Private lessons run year-round.
Monthly tuition is $130 per student. We teach 44 classes year-round and spread payment for those classes into twelve easy equal payments. This makes it easier for you to budget each month! This monthly amount is not tied to the number of classes or lessons in a given month, but rather is 1/12th of the total cost for the year.
